To make your stay with us as pleasant as possible, all the important information on inpatient registration and deregistration is available here.

 Monday through Friday:

7:00 am to 4:00 pm

Saturday:

8:00 am to 11:00 am

Inpatient admission

Briefing: If you have been admitted to St. Vinzenz Hospital for inpatient treatment, please proceed as follows:

On the day of admission

Registration:

Please take your documents to the registration desk on the ground floor of House 2. An employee collects your personal data and completes the formalities.

Personal security pass

Patient identification wristband:

On admission, you will receive a personalised wristband with your name and date of birth. This ensures correct identification during your stay.

Important notes:
  • Wear the wristband during your entire stay.
  • Confirm your name and date of birth before each intervention.
  • Have the wristband removed when you are discharged.

You should bring

Checklist:
  • Identity card or passport
  • E-Card or European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or referral slip
  • If you have private insurance, your policy number (for special class patients)
  • Comfortable daywear or robe
  • Non-slip slippers
  • Hygienic articles
  • Reading glasses or contact lenses (incl. cleaning fluid and storage container)
  • Any regularly taken medication
  • List of intolerances/allergies or allergy pass (please indicate when registering)

If possible, valuables should not be brought along, as we cannot accept any liability for their loss.

Outpatient admission

For check-ups, accident treatment and scheduled appointments, registration and data recording is carried out via the central registration desk in House 3, 1st floor.

Deregistration / Discharge

Before leaving the station:

  • Discharge papers: You will receive the discharge papers from your medical or nursing team.
  • Have the wristband removed: Ask the nursing staff to remove your patient wristband.

Completion of formalities:

  • Sign out in the foyer: Take your discharge documents to the registration/deregistration desk in the foyer to complete the necessary formalities.

  • Payment of the daily rate: The statutory daily rate can be paid in cash or by debit or credit card.

On request, we will provide you with a confirmation of stay for your insurance or for any reimbursements (such as those relating to your holiday expenses or ski pass).
