ESI triage

When you arrive, you will be asked about your symptoms by specially trained nursing staff. The urgency of your treatment will then be assessed using the ESI triage system. Depending on the urgency – from 1 (immediate) to 5 (not urgent) – you will be treated immediately or asked to take a seat in the waiting area.

We ask for your understanding if patients have to be treated before you due to the greater urgency of care and thank you for your trust.

Waiting times

The number of patients seeking help constantly fluctuates and occasionally includes cases of acute deteriorations or life-threatening situations. Treatment is provided according to medical priority and not according to the order in which patients arrive at the outpatient clinic.

Our team is always working to keep waiting times as short as possible.

We are not responsible for the following services

We do not offer sick notes, pregnancy tests, vaccinations or prescriptions for long-term medication. Chronic conditions should be clarified by a general practitioner or in specialised outpatient clinics.
