Focus on the individual: holistic care
We focus on a holistic, compassionate, and respectful approach to care, as taught and practiced centuries ago by Saint Vincent de Paul, the namesake of the hospital.
Tradition and innovation: The Vincentian mission
Our sponsoring organisation, the Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy of St. Francis of Assisi, is a member of the Sisters of Mercy. St. Vincent de Paul, based at the Mutterhaus in Zams, has embodied the philosophy of the Vincentian mission for generations. With an extensive network of facilities in the medical, social and educational fields, they have created a framework in which the timeless values of the order remain alive.
Our values: Charity, care and respect
Your well-being: Safety and security
Our aim is to give you a feeling of safety, security and trust in every situation. We are there for you – so that you feel that you are in the best of hands, even in challenging and stressful times.
Values of the Order of the Sisters of Mercy of St. Francis of Assisi St. Vincent de Paul in Zams
The facilities of the Sisters of Mercy of St. Vincent de Paul in Zams are based on values that serve people and life. Vincent de Paul and Louise de Marillac left their employees with the mission to respect and honour every individual, acknowledging their personality and taking a holistic view of each person.

Our values are
Sincere respect
Cordiality and respect for others give confidence and prestige. Human dignity and freedom are inviolable.
Compassionate love
Loving care for everyone is not a gesture of superior generosity, but elementary humanity, which we all need. It opens the senses to the needs of the other person and motivates solution-oriented action. We respect individuality, independence and holistic needs.
Serving one another
Everyone has something to give, but everyone also has their limits. If we serve each other, support and complement each other, we can achieve great things together: in the service of the common cause. We express our solidarity through mutual connection and shared responsibility for one another.
The flaming heart is stylised by geometric shapes of different sizes and colours. The variety of shapes and colours – from bright red to orange, ochre and yellow to plain grey – is intended to help individuals recognise themselves. This applies to all facilities and locations operated by the Order. For employees as well as patients, residents, clients and relatives who need help and care.
