The reception is the first point of contact directly at the main entrance to the hospital. The team is available around the clock, both by telephone and in person, to clarify any concerns.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Switchboard: Transfer of internal and external calls
  • Visitor requests: Support with general enquiries and information
  • Orientation guide: Information and directions for patients
  • Travel assistance: Support in finding accommodation, train and bus timetables and organising taxi services
  • Postal dispatch: Processing of letter and parcel shipments
  • Security monitoring: Monitoring and support of technical emergency call systems, the fire safety system and the internal radio system
  • Radio operation: Support for analogue and digital radio traffic during operations
  • Coordination of emergency services: internal forwarding and coordination of registrations for emergency medical services, rescue helicopters and the Tirol control centre
