Predialysis consultation and preparation

Patients in the pre-dialysis stage receive detailed advice and preparation for renal replacement therapy, in particular hemodialysis. This includes the installation of dialysis catheters and Cimino shunts. These measures are carried out in close cooperation with the hospital's surgical department and the Landeck dialysis center.

Cooperation with the Landeck dialysis center

The Landeck dialysis center, a facility of the B. Braun Avitum Austria dialysis centers, has 15 dialysis stations. In addition to patients requiring dialysis from the Landeck and Imst districts, vacation dialysis patients are also treated here. Medical care is also provided by doctors from the Internal Medicine Department at St. Vinzenz Hospital.
