Efficient diagnostic procedures are available, including laboratory tests, elastography to measure liver and spleen stiffness, liver biopsy and hepatic venous pressure measurement. In the case of advanced liver disease, early evaluation is carried out with regard to a possible liver transplant and referral to the Innsbruck Transplant Center. Aftercare following a liver transplant is also carried out competently.
