The trauma surgery outpatient clinic is where the initial assessment and treatment of patients with all types of injuries and subsequent check-ups take place. All plaster casts, support and protective bandages are applied in the plaster room. If necessary, joints and bone fractures are also set - under X-ray control and anesthesia.

Emergency room for freshly injured patients

All patients first arrive at the admission unit for freshly injured patients, which is supervised by a senior physician on duty and an experienced shock room team. This is where the initial examination and immediate treatment measures take place.

Sonography unit
Blood gas analyzer
Various materials and devices for central access and drainage

There is also a direct elevator connection to the helicopter roof landing pad. The shock room is operated on an interdisciplinary basis by the department of anaesthesia and all other necessary specialist departments.

Our emergency room is open 24/7 from Monday to Sunday. The order in which patients are called depends on the urgency of the treatment and the necessary course of treatment.
