To prevent potential problems and solve existing difficulties, we offer comprehensive advice and support on all aspects of breastfeeding. In our breastfeeding outpatient clinic, you will receive targeted information and active help with anticipated or existing breastfeeding difficulties.

Advice and support before the birth:

Expected breastfeeding problems after breast surgery or changes to the nipples and breasts
Special situations such as multiple pregnancies, premature births, planned caesarean sections or health problems of the baby
Breastfeeding problems already experienced in the past
Illnesses of the mother and special medication (in consultation with the doctor)

Help and advice after the birth:

General breastfeeding difficulties and issues throughout the breastfeeding period
Milk stasis and breast inflammation
Painful or open nipples
Questions on how to deal with babies with special needs (premature babies, sick babies, babies who are lazy or weak drinkers)
Questions about breastfeeding when mother and child are separated
Inpatient admission of a breastfeeding mother to hospital
Introduction of complementary foods and weaning
Use of breastfeeding aids (by arrangement)
