Outpatient clinic opening hours
Services
Consultation hours and advice
The hematology-oncology consultation offers initial examinations, clarifications and check-ups, as well as information and advice sessions. Patients also have the opportunity to obtain second opinions.
Drug therapy and day clinic
Drug therapy is provided both as an inpatient and in our interdisciplinary oncology day clinic. This clinic also offers low-threshold access to psychological and dietary care. Our cancer nurses also play a key role in providing professional and empathetic care.
Study Center Zams
The Study Center in Zams, co-financed by the Association for Tumor Research, provides access to the latest drugs and treatment strategies through participation in national and international medical studies. It is also used for quality assurance. A study administrator provides us with significant support.
Interdisciplinary tumor boards
Tumor boards are held weekly, in which interdisciplinary meetings are held. Specialists from surgery, gynaecology and urology work closely with radiologists, psycho-oncologists and pathologists. Radiotherapy in Innsbruck is integrated via teleconference. These meetings serve to optimize the planning of treatment together.
Information material and guides
An interdisciplinary working group at St. Vinzenz Hospital has developed a comprehensive guide. It is available in all outpatient clinics and can also be downloaded. The guide brings together important information and provides support through the in-depth expertise and recommendations of doctors, nurses, dieticians, psychooncologists, discharge management and pastoral care.
